PHILOSOPHY

Studio Lowman is an independent design studio specialized in typographic branding, editorial design, creative direction and digital content design. The company was founded in 2007 by Jonathan Looman.

The primary forces behind our work are: collaborating with progressive clients to challenge the status quo (not the band); and self-initiated research projects. Our aim is to shape and manipulate conventions and formats to trigger the visual intelligence of the reader. We aim to communicate at a subconscious level and break through the mundane patterns of modern day life.
